Featuring four medallions on the corners of the main area and one in the heart, the Qashqai rug is based on a brown background with shades of brown and dark blue used skillfully in the foreground to create a similar-toned piece that soothes the eyes of the beholder. Various birds, animals and garden motifs surround these medallions with four big hook elements near the medallions. The center shape has two circular designs in series creating a hexagonal shape making up the most part of the main field in red background. Tiny elements from the Qashqai tradition form the border that maintains the harmony of color and makes a regular 5'10"x4'1" rug in Persian style to adorn any decor.
Care Instructions
To clean your rug of spills, firmly press a clean cloth onto the area to absorb as much liquid as possible. Avoid rubbing or stroking as this can set the stain deeper into the rug. For general maintenance of your rug, carefully vacuum on a low power setting. Professional cleaning is the preferred and recommended method for stains. Using a rug pad is also recommended to extend the life of your rug.
