An alluring array of flowers spreading over the dark red field of this beautiful antique Persian carpet makes it a pleasant addition to any contemporary decor. A series of white blossoms form the primary element of the pattern each surrounded by leaves and stems in network leading towards the outward. Crisp lines connect these elements to create an intricate detail throughout the core of the rug. A large band of vines and flowers arranged in regular arrangement form the border accompanied by two thin borders featuring similar motifs. Soft, muted greyish tone throughout the borders provide a great contrast to the bright center making it more visible and eye-catching. The Turkistan rug is 5' long and 3' wide and suits any space in home or office for some soft and luxurious treatment.
