This Persian rug is a great example of the special characteristics of Qashqai style that employs weaving of large amounts of bold shades of red. Recognized by the bold graphic design and joyful color combination, this rug features indigo and blue tones to complement the prominent red. Woven by Qashqai tribeswomen using high quality, soft wool, this rug is decorated with hexagon shaped medallion surrounded by hooks as an all-over pattern. The pendant shaped design at the core of the rug encloses a diamond-shaped medallion in blue containing another small medallion forming the heart of the traditional Persian rug in 10'x6'8" size.
Care Instructions
To clean your rug of spills, firmly press a clean cloth onto the area to absorb as much liquid as possible. Avoid rubbing or stroking as this can set the stain deeper into the rug. For general maintenance of your rug, carefully vacuum on a low power setting. Professional cleaning is the preferred and recommended method for stains. Using a rug pad is also recommended to extend the life of your rug.
